We invite you to step into the shoes of a Mount student through our Shadow Day experience. Join us in our faith-filled community, where mercy and compassion guide daily life. Experience our Christ-centered classrooms, connect with our welcoming students, and see the exceptional opportunities that await you at Mount St. Mary Catholic High School.   • Where and When to Arrive: Visitors should arrive at 8:15am, classes begin at 8:00am, but this will help you avoid the start of day traffic! Please park in the visitor’s spots that are in the front circle drive. We ask that a parent/guardian accompany the student visitor into the building. 
  • Your Mount Ambassador Host: Student Mount Ambassadors will host visitors during their shadow day. While we cannot guarantee placement with a specific student or friend named on the registration form, we will do our best to pair each visitor with a welcoming host to ensure a positive and enjoyable experience at MSM.
  • What to Wear: Boys – Suggested attire for boys includes khaki pants, a polo shirt or school sweatshirt, and tennis shoes. Girls – Suggested attire for girls includes dress slacks or a skirt of modest and appropriate length, a polo shirt or school sweatshirt, and tennis shoes. 
  • What to Bring: We recommend that students bring a book to read or homework to complete, in case tests are scheduled in some classes for the day of their visit. A water bottle. Students who need to take medication during the day are required to bring, carry, and administer their own medications. Mount St. Mary has a “off and away, all day” cell phone policy. Our student guests may bring their cell phone the day of their visit, but are asked to observe our school policy while they are present.
  • Lunch: Students will be given a voucher to purchase lunch. If a student has a food allergy it is advised that they bring a lunch that is safe for them.
  • End of Day Pick Up: Students should be picked up at 3:00 pm in the main office. Please park in the visitor’s spots that are closest to the front door. We ask that a parent/guardian come to the door to meet their student. If your student is going home with a designated guardian or friend, please indicate appropriate pick up on your registration form.
  • School Closure/Inclement Weather: In the event of a school closure due to weather, please watch the local news or MSM social media pages. We will notify you via email by 7:00am.
