A dedicated Catholic priest with a strong academic and pastoral work background. He graduated from the University of Oklahoma in 2006 with a Bachelor’s in Zoology and Biomedical Science and minors in History and Chemistry. His path to the priesthood began at Conception Seminary College, followed by advanced theological studies in Rome, where he earned degrees in Moral Theology and Bioethics.

Fr. Buettner was ordained in 2013 and has served in various roles, including chaplain, parochial vicar, and pastor at multiple churches and schools within the Archdiocese of Oklahoma City. He currently serves as pastor of St. Thomas More University Parish at the University of Oklahoma, where he continues to lead and inspire with his dedication to ministry and education.
