Vice Chairperson of the Board – Bob Tener is a retired experienced administrator with extensive background interpreting city codes and ordinances, significant knowledge of structure and operation of municipal organization, and considerable skill in building collaborative relationships with citizens, elected officials, the business community, employees and the media.

Tener’s background in Catholic education served him well throughout his professional career as he found himself well-prepared for college and a career in public service. Tener’s wife, Brenda Tener is a 1975 graduate of The Mount and his three children are Mount grads Mary Kate Tener (2008), Whitney Tener Ranallo (2009), and John L. Tener (2012). 

“Archbishop Coakley calls us to “put out into the deep.” In this age of apostolic mission, I believe it is even more critical to support the mission of Catholic education. I respectfully offer my knowledge, skills, and abilities to support Mount St. Mary Catholic High School,” said Bob Tener.
