Donna Williams earned her Bachelor of Science Degree from Dakota State College in Madison, South Dakota in Physical Education, Health, and Psychology in 1981. She taught and coached girls’ basketball, volleyball and track in Dell Rapids, South Dakota until earning her Master of Science Degree in Counseling and Human Resource Development from South Dakota State University in 1989. She went on to a career in school counseling that took her to Lytton Iowa, and the Flandreau Indian School before taking a position with the Sioux Falls Catholic School at O’Gorman High School where she served for 20 years as a counselor, International Student Coordinator, Safe and Drug Free Schools Coordinator and advisor to the Teens Against Tobacco Use and Students Against Destructive Decisions programs.
Mrs. Williams began her career at Mount St. Mary in the fall of 2014 after her family moved from South Dakota to Oklahoma City. Mrs. Williams serves as a counselor and International Student Coordinator for The Mount. Her many years in education have taught her that each and every student is a gift from God, with all their unique characteristics, quirks and talents, it is a blessing to watch them transform over the course of their high school career and beyond. Mrs. Williams is married to Thomas Williams, the extrusion manager at MD Building here in Oklahoma City. Together they have 6 children and multiple grandchildren which she will be happy to you show pictures! In her spare time, she enjoys quilting, working out, and traveling primarily to South Dakota and Tennessee to spend time with my family.
